We are not audio professionals, so there may be technical issues we are unaware of, however. It powers up, all buttons seem to function as they should while tape is running through. Vintage AMPEX AG-600-2 Portable Reel to Reel Amp Suitcase AG-600B

Based on my research, I believe this is an AG-600-2 (there is no label), however, it could be an AG-600B-2. I cannot tell the difference. This came from an older estate sale and was this clean when I found it. I only dusted off the cover–I have not cleaned anything else. There is no overwhelming odor but it does smell vintage (if that makes sense:). It powers on, the FF and REV functions both seem to work (I have a video of this of you need it). This is all of the testing that I have the ability to do. The fan noise is to me a little louder than it should be. The xlr input plugs are in rough shape and are difficult to plug into. Probably want to replace them. Measures 20.5″ x 13.5″ x 9.5. If you are in the Tampa/St Pete area and would like to check it out, you are more than welcome to.
