This Listing is For. A Used Dokorder 7100 Vintage Tape Recorder Stereo Reel to Reel “For Parts or Repairs”. In Good Cosmetic Condition, Play, Rewind & Forward seem to work but the pinch roller does not function has it should, it was stuck first but after awhile it came out but does not pinch the tape. Belt on the Motor #3 need to be put back in place (make some noise but seem to work). The lithium grease that was used when assembling the machines hardens over time, seizing the sleeve bearing that the pinch roller pivots on. Common problems with many Reel to Reel & vintage stereo equipment. The Dokorder looks very nice but I have no time to spend fixing a reel to reel. I do have a PDF of the manual & service manual if needed. I sanitize everything I sell. Please look at the pictures carefully to get an accurate description. And feel free to ask questions. Dokorder 8140 Reel to Reel 4 Channel Recorder, Working / Very Good Condition. Domorder 8140 Reel To Reel – The deck plays forward. This deck has “Sound on Sound” (SOS) and “Record Echo” features. Great for self “Dubbing” tracks. Note: Sly and the Family Stone Reel Tape was used to show Forward playback, FF and Rew functions and IS included! Every function switch and dial responds however I have not attempted to record. There is always a risk that periodic cleaning, or repairs will be needed to to keep it functioning perfectly given that it is a “Vintage” machine.

Vintage, DOKORDER 1120 Reel to Reel. 10.5 for parts

Up for sale, Vintage, Dokorder 1120 Reel to Reel recorder in good cosmetic condition, one of the best examples I’ve seen, it has a small scratch on the faceplate, see pic, that is covered when 10 inch reels are installed, and a few minor scuffs on the side panels. I used this for display with my personal collection. I believe this machine was seldom used, heads are in great shape. This is Dokorders higher end models that accepts 10.5 inch reels These are fairly rare, especially in this condition. I have another parts deck for sale in another listing. I had planned to use the 2 machines and have my tech put together a full functioning unit, but I have another project now. This is a parts deck. No further tests were done. SEE PHOTOS, ASK Questions, as they are part of the description! This is a decent example of a fairly rare deck, or great for parts that is worthy of restoration. Most i’ve seen are total junk. This unit will be packed securely for safe arrival. This is a hobby, i collect, certain ones, I do not work on, or service these, i leave that up to the experts..
