Vintage Panasonic / Technics reel to reel tape recorder. This model, an RS714, features ferrite heads, three motors. And two speeds, 7 1/2 & 3 3/4. It has built in sound on sound, mic / line mixing capabilities and push button solenoid operation. The deck has been cleaned and lubricated. The audio electronics and heads have been aligned to optimize audio performance. Both meters and all lamps work. All service was performed by an audio / tape recorder technicians with over 40 years experience. The unit comes with one 7″ reel of used recording tape and a used 7″ plastic take up reel, as pictured. I don’t have the instruction manual, but I can send you a PDF of the service manual. Note : Cabinet has some blemishes, the face plate has a scratch to the right of the take up reel table, and both reel tables are tarnished, not visible when tape is on the deck.
