For sale, an Akai gx260d Reversing Reel to Reel tape deck. The unit has a few dings and scratches, but overall VERY nice for its age. Plugged in, the unit powers up, and capstan motor spins and is strong. Aluminum covers for 2 knobs have separated due to old dried glue, but are included. Head cover has 3 of 4 tabs present on each side. Ffw and Frw work. In fwd, you can get tape to play and put out audio (both channels), but you have to wind the take up reel manually. That is the extent of my testing. Seems like it should be easy to fix if you know what you’re doing. I pack items VERY SECURELY to make sure you get every item in the best possible condition.
