Vintage Pioneer RT-2022 Professional Reel to Reel Recorder. TAU-11 2 Channel Tape Preamp with Patch Cable. For parts or repair. Very rare and hard to come by in any condition. I sent this to my Tech for evaluation. Here are his findings. Technician notes- Unit powered up. Capstan and roller are very oxidized. Preamp and meters indicate audio circuits “working”, but no head output was noted. Unit requires considerable labor and possibly parts to be operational. There is oxidation on the top and back side of the cover as you can see in the many photos provided. Includes everything in the photos. Also includes both factory covers for the transport and the amplifier. They are in the last 2 photos. Priced accordingly for parts/repair. I hope someone can get this up and running. Its just not worth it to me to pay my tech to get this operational, plus his work is backlogged quite a few months. Being offered for parts/ repair only.
