Vintage WOLLENSAK T-1980 Reel-to-Reel Stereo Tape Player/Recorder – Complete Suitcase. Known as “The Sound Room” model positioned just above the T-1580 model – “portable” at 43lbs! Unit motor has been tested for operation and mechanical functions – play at both speeds, FF and rewind. The speakers are alive and well. The unit’s running speed and sound output have not been tested. That is the extent of the testing and I can’t vouch for the drive belt condition or other functions. Unit as found from estate of local collector – stored indoors and required no refurbishment for condition as listed. Unit is in good to very good condition – minimal cosmetic defects – limited to light scratches and scuffs. The player mechanism and components are intact and limited testing indicated no problems.
