Sony TC-252D Stereo Tape Deck. Great working unit whose heads are. Works perfectly and plays and records sweetly. Unlike some decks, never abused or badly stored. Still easily makes specs. Non-original, acceptable reels holders included. I have been servicing Sony tape equipment. Since 1975 working at Superscope. And continuing on in audio hi-fi. Service for stereo retailers. You can rely on my work. I completely went thru this unit. Lots of that old Sony sticky lube to clean. Lifted the head deck to service everything there. Gave the idlers my special treatment and they. Are in excellent condition. Oiled the motor and flywheel bearings. Replaced the 2 belts. Clean and demag the tape path. All in all in exceptionally good shape in there. Nice clean, gently used condtion. Everything looks really nice, showing. Light signed of being used. Scratch on the head cover. The wooden case looks good. Please review all the pictures.
