In addition to the LED lamp upgrade the machine was thoroughly inspected, cleaned and tested. All connectors, switches and pots were cleaned with De-Oxit. Recording and playback functions were tested with 1Khz & 10Khz tones. All features and functions were tested and the machine is in excellent working order! Plenty of life left in these heads! This recorder came out of a professional studio facility. And when I received it there was a note was taped to the cabinet that says the following. “Meters are set as follows: +2db (in red) on meter = +5db in reality”. Machine has some scuffs and scratches.
