This microphone has been stored in its protective plastic sleeve since its production and shows only minimal storage wear (nearly flawless). The front silvery faceplate and black lettering is still as it was when it left the factory. This original Akai metal M-7 microphone stand allows the microphone to be tilted up at a slight angle and are a wonderful cosmetic and functional addition to your Akai M-7 collection. The gorgeous glossy black paint is smooth and stunning, without any chips. For Akai M-7 microphones, this is our best unit in over 20 years. This microphone has been tested and sounds excellent. The cord has a fabric winding around it, as typical for this model. The original factory winding for this cord is mostly still intact, as we have slightly unwrapped it for testing and to confirm recording signal quality. The plug is a 1/4 jack which the M-7 possesses for microphone usage. The microphone is cosmetically gorgeous with only a few indications of storage wear.
