For sale is a TEAC A-6010 Reel to Reel Tape Recorder, left behind in the workshop of my late father, who was a radio, TV, and other electronics serviceman for much of his life. He also had a love of the reel to reel tape recorders, and I’m not sure if this is one that he owned, or one that was given to him to restore. However, I have no idea how to test it, and I will have to sell it as is, as found, and as photographed. If the unit looks good enough to restore, you will have a very nice recorder on your shelf! Otherwise, I know the parts themselves, if they are working, are well worth the time to salvage. So, I’ll leave this up to you! The bad news is that this is a heavy recorder! The recorder itself is 50 pounds, and it will need to go into a 60-pound box. Anyway, a free pick-up might be worth the drive through lovely Wisconsin. We are just west of Milwaukee.
