For sale is a TEAC A-3440 4 channel Reel to Reel tape deck recorder. It is in good condition albeit with some minor scuffs and marks and wooden chips as shown and rec light out. But the record function does work for sure. It has been tested and the heads were cleaned and demagnetized for the best sound ever. A new main drive motor and audio board was installed. The mic inputs were tested and they work as well as the other inputs and the simul sync. The pots and switches were sprayed and the metal parts were lubed as well. ALL 4 channels work good as well. The sound when recording at 7 1/2 PS is very clear and better and wider sounding than the Source recording from, depending on the type of tape used and even better at 15 IPS. The heads are also in very good shape which is obviously why the quality is awesome as well. There are many of these decks for sale online that are either partially tested and tested or have a simple description of “it was working the last time it was used” with no video proof of functionality. This is not one of those decks. But if you are looking for one that actually works and is ready to use to get the job done whatever it is you may need, then you’ve come to the right place! This item will be packed extremely well so it arrives in one piece. DO NOT discard the packing material and box! This illustrates proof that the deck was working when it left here. DO NOT OPEN A RETURN REQUEST! Any issue that occurs can be just as easily resolved just by communicating. Proof of any issues that arise may also be requested so I can determine the best course of action to resolve them. I do however, reserve the right to use UPS at anytime.
