A vintage Akai model GX-4000D reel-to-reel tape deck/recorder! Silver faced unit with “wood grain” style sides. It was lightly tested with a reel but not hooked up to speakers/receiver. Seems to play and FF/rewind fine, but again, I didn’t actually play the sound through speakers! The right spindle seems to be a little wobbly when it plays? Not sure how to correct that. Did not test the recording function. There are surface scratches, scuffs, and small discoloration spots scattered throughout. Will come exactly as shown, so please see photos!
