A wonderful machine with a great natural sound, especially when you mix down separate tracks to one channel. Everything works great, the only exception is that the lock release on the XLR input on track two is bent. The cable will still lock and be released just fine. Also the 1/4 input on track four is damaged Other than that any wear is strictly cosmetic. I especially love to import my analog recordings into my Mac after recording or mixing on the Tascam. If you have’t heard of the 388 do a little research, it has long been coveted and used by home recording gurus, including names like; Mac DeMarco, Ariel Pink, and R. Last used about a year ago.
