This outstanding 8-track 15 ips recorder has been serviced by Portland Pro Audio in May/June 2021. It was tested before release; all tracks play and record normally – what goes in is what comes out, in terms of audio signal! The transport functions well, replete with new Athan 1/2 pressure roller. Note there is no head cover – you could operate without one, or with the wealth of Teac and Tascam parts and pull pieces on the used market, it may be a simple matter to locate one.
