Please read entire description. AKAI GX-280D-SS REEL TO REEL Tape Recorder. 4 Channel Stereo Tape Deck. Powers on, will play (with no tape) Forward & Reverse. Will play Rev in 2 channel mode. Seems to function in play/ffwd & forward/reverse modes. Though in has not been tested with a tape & no other tests ran. The heads & the Tape guides are all dirty/gummy & have to be cleaned before puting a Tape in this machine. Has not been used for a number of years. There are a couple of dings in the wood surround. It has the plastic cover that will be included but is broke in half, see pictures. Otherwise machine is in good condition. No Warranties Expressed or Implied.
