Vintage AKAI 1710 W (Wood case) Reel to Reel 4 Track Tape Recorder Player with built in Valve Tube Amplifier and Speakers Made in Japan. Tested and Working, plays well, fast forwards, rewinds, records and kill switch is operating correctly. Unit can play upright or layers on its back. I have given this unit a general clean up, cleaned and demagnetised the heads. I have given volume pots a a clean with contact cleaner however there is a little crackle still when adjusting volume. You have RCA Jacks on the rear and you can also plug this into a seperate Amplifier if you wish but this unit will run on its own.
