CRYSTAL TIME SYNC GENERATOR MODEL TSG 30 #229. MICRO ADAPTER TO XLR MICROPHONE PLUG. MICRO ADAPTER TO SONY ELECTRET CONDENSER MICROPHONE. This listing is for an amazing NAGRA SN. This came from a working film/documentary studio and this particular unit was used in the film industry. I’ve done all the testing I can on this unit and to my knowledge; it is working great. It is in clean, fully functional shape. The unit itself has very minor cosmetic signs of use, please see photos, very light scuffs, no major dings ect. The metal chassis and case are looking great. I was able to playback and record audio just fine. The tapes have some documentary interview type audio recorded on them, I will leave them as is. The phones jack I was able to hear with one side of the headphones, I believe you need the correct patch/a signal converter with these to have both L+R (If anyone has anymore info on this please reach out). The small Micro to Sony condenser mic requires ONE V76PX battery to power and I did not have one on hand; so I used a similar lower powered battery. I was able to record with it but the signal was a bit low. With the XLR adapter + my own microphone, I was able to produce a much better powerful signal. I did not test the Crystal Time Sync Generator as I do not have anyway of knowing how it works. This would have been used in conjunction with cine film footage I believe.
