REVOX – STUDER B77 Not High Speed , 2 -Track Stereo Reel to Reel Tape Recorder. Condition is “For parts or not working”. Have had this around here for 15 plus years. Was hoping to restore as a project but never did. It hasnt been used since it needs some TLC. Its as found when I received it. Powers on, Forward and Reverse are good, play is good too. Monitor Aux In on both channels but records on left channel only. Please note this is not High speed its the lowest speed was considered an Archiver. Since at such a low speed the duration is enormous but the fidelity is not. It most likely has identical parts as the high speed model and all parts are harvestable for another project. Since its the low speed model the actual use of parts is a fraction of the other models and therefore should be in better shape. The toggle switches seem to have been jimmied with screws to hold knob as they must have been broken. The power toggle shaft is intact. The tape counter doesnt work probably broken belt or missing belt. Please ask all questions before purchasing. Its multiple volt capable so could be used on 220/240 too. Power cord not original.
