This TEAC tape deck has been tested and does not function properly. When forward or reverse playback is engaged, the left reel turns in reverse and the right reel turns forward simultaneously. They also run in playback at approximately the same speed as they do in fast-forward or rewind. The unit successfully fast-forwards, and rewinds. Both meter lights do not light up. The left tension arm swings freely and has scratched the faceplate as shown. The capstan and tape counter belts appear to work fine, but they may be a little stretched out. Cosmetically, it possesses some normal signs of age and previous use as shown (see pictures). No power cord included. Track System: auto reverse, 4-track, 2-channel, stereo/monaural system.
