Transport feels very very very smooth. Recordings and playback are crystal clear. This deck is capable of 3.75, 7.5, 15 ips. Now is configured for 7.5 and 15 ips. This is a 1/2 track stereo tape deck. It records 1/2 track, and plays back for 1/2, and 1/4 track configuration. All lights, buttons and controls work as they should. Front panel adjusting pods for Bias, Equalization, and Record Level for fine adjustment to your favorite brand/type of tape. This deck records and plays back with fantastic quality and definition.
