This Teac reel to reel is one of a few out there keeping all its functions the way they are supposed to be. The sound quality is awesome, while the recording is unbitable. The tape transport mechanism can look like a very simple one, but no wonder this fabulous vintage machine has reached our days and still providing entertainment for their owners because they are manufactured to last a lifetime. There are cosmetic blemishes difficult to spot at a glance, just a conscious inspection would lead you to the front plate left upper corner where there is a small hit making this corner kind of round, but just that, nothing to do with the machine performance. My unique reason to sell my favorite toy is the hard time we all are going thru with this pandemic. I hope you’ll love this beauty if you become the new proud owner.
